Vintage Postcards

We added several dozen vintage postcards to our postcard shop today.  They include vintage Christmas postcards, Easter postcards, a few Valentine’s Day postcards and dutch children postcards.  Below are a few favorites:

 

 

This first postcard features an old-fashioned Santa Claus with holly.  Behind him you can see an old Victorian village.  It was published in the 1910s, is embossed and in good condition.

 

 

This is an antique New Year’s day postcard showing a pair of tiny angels or cherubs ringing in the New Year.  It was printed in the 1900s in Germany.

 

 

Our next featured postcard shows a couple of dutch children driving an old model T with a boy watching them saying “It aind’t no fun, ven de udder feller has a automobile”.  It was published in the 1910s.

 

 

This last postcard is a vintage Easter postcard and shows a beautiful angel with a cross covered in blue forget me nots.  It was published in the 1910s and printed in Germany.
